Tomintoul 12 Oloroso is a distinguished single malt Scotch whisky, renowned for its rich unique flavour profile. Aged for 12 years in Oloroso sherry casks, it boasts a deep amber hue and a captivating aroma of dried fruits, dark chocolate and subtle oak.
The Master Distiller, Robert Fleming has carefully selected single malt distilled in 2011 and matured initially in exceptional ex-bourbon American oak casks. The single malt in these casks has been married then finished in the finest Oloroso Sherry butts sourced from Andalucía, Spain. The Oloroso Sherry butts perfectly complement Tomintoul Single Malt imparting rich fruit flavours, which enhance the character and complexity of our whisky.
Tasting Notes:
A harmonious blend of buttery layers of golden syrup, chocolate raisins and brittle toffee mingled with fruit loaf, roast coffee beans and rolling tobacco.
