Tomintoul 14 Years Old is bottled at 46% abv and is non-chill filtered to emphasis a richer and more robust style of the classic Tomintoul. Matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks, this whisky balances the sweet style of Tomintoul with a textured, full bodied and buttery flavour profile.
Nose:
Sweet and inviting with aromas of sugared almond, icing sugar, orchard fruits and crème brûlée with hints of lemon curd.
Palate:
Madagascan vanilla pod and toasted almonds mixed with cinnamon Danish, oat biscuits and citrus oils.
Finish:
Warming and toasty with layers of roast hazelnuts, mocha and fresh grassy highlights.
